Job summary

Gillette Children's is seeking a Patient Access Specialist for the St. Paul Outpatient Clinic. This full-time, on-site role is based at the St.

Paul Campus, 200 University Ave E, St Paul, MN 55101, USA, with a Monday–Friday schedule 8:45am–5:15pm (training week 8:00am–4:30pm). The specialist will ensure excellent patient and family experiences, handling check-in, registration, insurance verification, and appointment coordination across specialties, while promoting the MyGillette portal and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• 1 year experience with customer service, administrative, or healthcare setting.
• Advanced education (Associate or Bachelor's) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and families at check-in.
• Register and check-in patients with accurate demographic and insurance data.
• Verify insurance coverage and eligibility.
• Obtain signatures on consent forms.
• Coordinate with clinical teams to resolve patient needs.
• Perform a range of administrative tasks.
• Promote and enroll in MyGillette patient portal.
• Support inpatient admission and registration at St. Paul Clinic.
