Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years working in a healthcare environment.
• One year of supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Deep understanding of clinical operations and workflows.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Experience with Electronic Health Records preferred.
• Fluency in Spanish speaking preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day clinic operations to ensure patient needs are met.
• Supervise support staff and follow union guidelines.
• Prepare and monitor daily clinic schedule to ensure timely patient visits.
• Identify scheduling/workflow issues and recommend improvements.
• Coordinate with other clinic supervisors to staff all departments.
• Communicate with management and lead clinician to relay operational information.
• Assign and monitor support staff tasks and ensure labs/exam rooms stocked.
• Orient and train new staff and residents; provide ongoing training.
• Oversee in-house labs meeting appropriate standards.
• Participate in Quality Improvement projects.
• Serve as liaison with Quest lab and clarify insurance coverage.
• Monitor immunizations inventory.
• Assist in reassignment of graduating resident panels.
• Coordinate with Standby Clinic Coordinator for standby patients.
• Understand Medical Receptionist role and provide occasional support.
• Ensure timely submission of timekeeping to payroll.
