Job summary

Watertown Regional Medical Center, part of ScionHealth, is seeking a Clinic Manager to oversee daily operations of hospital-owned physician practices, ensure high-quality patient care, and maintain regulatory compliance.

You will manage staff, budgets, policies, and collaborate with senior leadership on service line development to improve patient satisfaction and operational efficiency.

This role requires leadership, EHR/billing knowledge, and strong communication in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of management experience in a physician practice or outpatient clinic setting.
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and medical billing/coding preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to coordinate across clinical and administrative teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily operations of physician practices to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.
• Develops and implements policies and procedures for operational consistency and compliance.
• Monitors budgets, develops financial plans, and addresses variances.
• Recruits, trains, and supervises staff.
• Ensures accurate documentation, coding, and billing practices to optimize reimbursement.
• Coordinates with providers to optimize schedules and patient flow.
• Manages supply chain and inventory.
• Resolves patient complaints and escalates issues as needed.
• Implements quality improvement initiatives and collaborates with leadership on strategic planning.
