Job summary

Samaritan is seeking a Clinic Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of one or more small medical practice offices, focusing on physician relationships, customer service, and financial management.

You will coordinate administrative policy, scheduling, staffing, and supplies to ensure efficient, compliant operations and a positive patient experience. This role reports to the Director of Operations and leads a professional team across clinics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or related clinical area preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; 3–5 years in healthcare leadership may substitute for formal education.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day operations of assigned departments with focus on physician relationships, customer service, and financial management.
• Coordinate administrative policy, physician preferences, and patient needs to ensure smooth clinic operations.
• Act as liaison between support staff, physicians, and Directors of Operations.
• Maintain open communication with clinic leadership, hospital departments, referring physicians, and staff physicians.
• Manage purchasing of daily operational supplies and inventory; practice cost containment.
• Assist in preparing and coordinating operational, manpower, and capital budgets; adhere to budget.
• Ensure quality control of operations and safe facility environment.
• Ensure efficient scheduling for patients and professionals; maintain adequate staffing.
• Coordinate in-service training, continuing education, and orientations.
• Oversee supervision of professionals; participate in recruitment and hiring.
• Evaluate performance and recommend personnel actions.
• Motivate staff to achieve productivity and performance.
