Job summary

WellMed is seeking a Clinic Administrator to direct and coordinate clinic staff and operations, ensuring high-quality patient care. You’ll oversee nursing staff, staffing plans, hiring, training, payroll, and compliance across the clinic in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires healthcare experience, strong data analysis, budgeting, and communication skills, plus a driver’s license and immunization verifications. A comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of clinic operations or healthcare experience.
• Proven knowledge of organization policies and procedures and ability to apply principles to solve everyday problems in a variety of situations.
• Proven knowledge of fiscal management and human resource management techniques.
• Proven knowledge of office management techniques and practices.
• Proven working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
• Computer literacy.
• Proven skills in gathering, analyzing, and evaluating data.
• Proven skills in written and verbal communication.
• Proven ability to exercise initiative, problem solving, decision-making.
• Proven ability to establish priorities and coordinate work activities.
• Proven good communication and customer service skills.
• Driver's License and access to reliable transportation.
• Tuberculosis screening and immunity requirements for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee daily nursing staff activities in the clinic.
• Determine staffing needs, prepare and adjust work schedules.
• Assist with personnel hiring, evaluation, termination, and counseling.
• Coordinate orientation and ongoing training for staff.
• Assist Administrator with payroll and expense monitoring.
• Maintain appearance of staff and treatment areas.
• Ensure OSHA and Infection Control compliance for all personnel.
• Manage medical supplies ordering and stock levels.
• Strengthen relationships with Administrators, Supervisors, physicians, and WellMed departments.
• Represent clinic in the Administrator's absence.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
