Job summary

The Ohio State University Physicians, Inc. is seeking a clinic supervisor to lead front desk and medical records operations. You will ensure smooth daily workflows, train staff, and act as the primary liaison between management and clinical teams.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in a medical office, strong EMR/Epic familiarity, and excellent customer service and multitasking abilities. This on-site role includes interaction with patients and physicians and may involve scheduling and admissions

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent with 3–5 years in a medical office setting.
Working knowledge of EMR systems, Word and Excel.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

Supervises front desk and medical record staff and ensures policy adherence.
Hires, trains, schedules, and evaluates staff; handles payroll and attendance.
Acts as the clinic's patient services subject matter expert and communicates with clinical staff.
Resolves escalated patient and physician issues; provides scheduling guidance.
Provides staff training on scheduling and clinic workflow; may assist with capacity planning.
Greets patients, registers, updates demographics, and handles check-out tasks including co-pays.
