Job summary

NextCare seeks a Clinic Lead MA to operate on-site, balancing direct patient care with frontline clinic support. You will train and mentor Clinical Care Specialists and Patient Service Specialists, while ensuring smooth patient flow and regulatory compliance throughout each shift.

The role requires certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA), current CPR, and at least 2 years of back-office MA experience in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Must be certified or registered Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA).
• Current CPR certification required (AHA/Red Cross/ASHI/NSC).
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent per state requirements.
• Minimum 2 years of back office MA experience in a medical setting.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-site lead for clinic operations, balancing patient care with front/back-office support.
• Maintain patient flow from check-in to discharge and monitor wait times and throughput.
• Provide hands-on coaching, training, and guidance to staff during shifts.
• Ensure regulatory and quality standards (COLA, CLIA, OSHA, HIPAA) are met.
• Assist with front desk processes and data entry, including billing documentation.
