Job summary

US Heart & Vascular is seeking a Clinical Services Manager for the Mansfield, TX HeartPlace clinic. The role oversees administrative and clinical duties, ensures compliance with OSHA/HIPAA, and coordinates with physicians and staff to maintain efficient office operations.

The position requires 5+ years of medical administrative/clinical experience, strong communication, supervisory skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office; some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 5+ years professional administrative/clinical experience in a medical setting.
• Professional level knowledge of medical billing practices.
• Supervisory experience: strong employee and patient relations skills.
• Strong communication skills; verbal and written with diverse populations.
• Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) proficiency.
• Basic accounting skills.
• Current Texas driver's license with ability to travel between clinics or to Home Office.

Responsibilities

• Administer assigned office and oversee administrative and clinical duties related to physicians, patients and staff.
• Ensure communication to facilitate office compliance with policies and regulations.
• Negotiate and arrange financial arrangements with patients.
• Oversee OSHA and HIPAA requirements.
• Schedule staff, manage PTO approvals, and ensure accurate time sheets.
• Supervise Check-In/Check-Out, scheduling, insurance verification, precertification and payments as needed.
• Collaborate with Operations and HR to address office issues and employee concerns.
• Participate in recruitment, hiring, counseling and termination of front office/clinical staff.
• Perform annual evaluations of front office/clinical personnel.
• Maintain physician call schedules, time off, meetings and scheduling needs.
