Job summary

CoxHealth is seeking a part-time clinic clerk for the Cox Family Medicine Mountain Grove. The role supports front-office operations, medical records handling, and billing-related tasks within a busy primary care setting.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma, strong communication skills, and proficiency with computers and EMR/PM systems. Training is provided; 24 hours weekly. Benefits are offered for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• No prior experience required; 1–2 years in medical office preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills; able to work independently and with a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide clerical and filing duties in the clinic office setting.
• Perform photocopying, faxing, filing and transport of medical records.
• Answer phones, data entry, and assist with insurance requirements and billing when assigned.
• Demonstrate strong customer service and teamwork in a busy outpatient environment.
