Job summary

Tufts Medicine in Massachusetts is seeking a patient liaison to support clinical and administrative operations in the outpatient setting, ensuring smooth patient flow and accurate record keeping to enhance the patient experience.

Under supervision, you will assist with vital signs, specimen collection, and coordination with providers, using Epic EMR and HIPAA-compliant processes to deliver high‑quality care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of Clinical Program or at least 6 months clinical experience.
• BLS certification or obtain within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Controls patient flow to maximize efficient use of exam rooms and providers.
• Prepares medical records and reviews patient information for accuracy.
• Delivers high-quality customer service in all patient interactions.
• Maintains a safe, clean, and comfortable environment.
• Assists with provider visits, examinations, and procedures.
• Handles billing support, CPT and diagnosis code documentation.
• Manages referrals, prior authorizations, and outside paperwork scanning.
