Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic Life Support Certification.
• Completion of Clinical Program or 6 months of clinical experience.
• Two years Medical Assistant experience preferred.
• Bilingual capabilities and EMR experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Control and monitor patient flow to maximize provider and exam room usage.
• Prepare medical records and verify patient data before visits.
• Provide strong customer service in all patient interactions.
• Escort patients to exam rooms and prepare them for provider visits.
• Record vitals, pain levels, and review medications with patients.
• Collect specimens and assist with point-of-care testing as ordered.
