Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; MA national certification; BLS certification or within 3 months.
• Two years MA experience preferred; bilingual and EMR experience advantageous.
• Ability to perform vital signs, immunizations, specimens, and point-of-care testing as needed.

Responsibilities

• Controls and monitors patient flow to maximize efficiency in clinic.
• Prepares medical records and interviews patients to obtain data.
• Performs vital signs, documents pain level, and reviews medications with patient.
• Assists with immunizations and immunization administration as needed.
• Provides administrative support including scheduling, phone duty, and referrals.
