Job Summary

The Clinical Office Assistant provides direct or indirect care under physician supervision to patients with urgent, emergent, or preventive health needs.

• Services include patient care, assistance with procedures, documentation, and patient/family education
• Work involves adhering to established standards, policies, and procedures

This position is a float role, requiring travel between different work locations.

Education and Experience

• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant or nursing program is required
• Experience is preferred but not mandatory

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Must hold a current certification or license from one of the following:

• Certified Medical Assistant (AAMA), Registered Medical Assistant (AMT), Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (NHA), National Certified Medical Assistant (NTC), Registered Medical Assistant (AHP), Certified Medical Assistant Clinical (AMCA), active LPN or RN license in the state of employment
• CPR certification is required
