An established industry player is seeking a Clinical Office Assistant to deliver essential patient care under the guidance of physicians. This role encompasses a variety of responsibilities, including assisting with medical procedures, documenting patient interactions, and educating patients and families about health issues. The ideal candidate will have completed an accredited Medical Assistant or nursing program and possess current CPR certification. Will be responsible for providing direct or indirect care, under the supervision of a physician, based on their scope of training, to patients presenting with urgent, emergent, or potential health problems, as well as for preventive care. Services provided by the Clinical Office Assistant will include, but are not limited to, general patient care, assistance with procedures, documentation of activities, and patient/family education. The Clinical Office Assistant will provide care utilizing established principles, ethical standards, policies, and procedures established by Deaconess.
Graduation certificate from an accredited Medical Assistant program or graduation from an accredited nursing program required. Experience preferred but not required.
Current certification/license from one of the following:
CPR provider certification required.
