Job Summary

The Clinical Office Assistant provides direct or indirect care under supervision, based on scope of training, to patients with urgent, emergent, or preventive health needs.

• Services include general patient care, assistance with procedures, documentation, and patient/family education.

Education and Experience

• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant or nursing program required.
• Experience preferred but not required.

Certificates/Licenses

Current certification/license from one of the following:

• Certified Medical Assistant - AAMA
• Registered Medical Assistant - AMT
• Certified Clinical Medical Assistant - NHA
• National Certified Medical Assistant - NCT
• Registered Medical Assistant - AHP
• Certified Medical Assistant Clinical - AMCA
• Active LPN or RN license in the state of employment
• CPR certification
