Join to apply for the CLINIC MEDICAL ASSISTANT role at Morris Hospital.

Status: Part-time, Benefit-Eligible. Average Hours per pay period: 48 hours every 2 weeks.

Description of Position

The Clinic Medical Assistant is responsible for providing basic nursing care to patients under the direction of the provider and/or licensed nurse. They must be able to handle emergency situations and provide optimal service to patients, providers, and clinic sites. Responsibilities include performing a wide variety of patient care activities and accommodative services for patients, as directed by the provider according to established procedures.

Qualifications

• Professional/Educational: Certified or Registered Medical Assistant required.
• Certified by the American Heart Association in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
• Experience in Ambulatory Clinics preferred.
• DCFS Mandated Reporter Certificate of Completion required.
• Personal Computer knowledge and clerical/business office skills.
• Sense of responsibility, initiative, and teamwork.
• Ability to work under pressure and be flexible and adaptable.
• Ability to maintain Standards of Conduct and effective communication channels.
