Job summary

CommonSpirit Health is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our care team. You will support clinicians, assist with screenings, coordinate patient flow, and help ensure high-quality, compassionate care in a fast-paced setting.

You will greet patients, record vitals, assist with procedures, and manage routine administrative tasks using electronic systems. A strong clinical foundation, empathy for patients, and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Certified CMA with valid certification(s).
• Basic Life Support/CPR within 30 days.
• High school diploma or equivalent and relevant CMA credentials.

Responsibilities

• Perform general patient care by following established standards and procedures.
• Greet and prepare patients for the health care provider.
• Obtain and record vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration, height and weight.
• Draw and collect blood samples and prepare specimens for lab analysis as needed.
• Administer medications and vaccines by various routes as ordered.
• May perform routine tests including EKGs.
