Job summary

Essentia Health seeks a Clinic Care Technician to support daily patient flow at the Duluth Clinic. You will greet patients, take vitals, document in the EMR, and help with clerical duties in a fast-paced setting.

The role may float to other areas as assigned; basic Life Support is required within 30 days of hire. Day shift, no weekends, FTE: 1. Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits accompany this position.

Qualifications

• Supports and assists providers and clinical staff with administrative and select patient care tasks
• Supports patient scheduling and work queue needs as assigned
• Follows up on no-shows and reviews add-ons with providers
• Greets patients, supports virtual visits, performs vitals
• Chaperones exams as needed
• Documents in electronic medical record

Responsibilities

• Greet and room patients; obtain vitals and document in chart
• Help with clerical duties and maintain clinic supplies
• Assist with patient scheduling and clinical workflows
• Support clean and stocked exam rooms
• May float to other areas as needed
