Job summary

Northwest Florida Community Hospital is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our clinic team in a fast-paced environment. The role supports providers, conducts patient intake, and ensures high-quality care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Two to three years of experience in the medical field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work closely with physicians.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and obtain vital signs, medical histories, and medication lists.
• Assist providers with patient examinations and procedures.
• Administer injections, medications, and treatments within scope of practice.
• Perform clinical documentation accurately in the electronic medical record.
• Coordinate referrals, prior authorizations, and patient follow-up care.
• Answer patient questions and provide excellent customer service.
• Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and infection control standards.
• Support clinic workflow and assist with daily operations as needed.
