Job summary

Integrity Care Group is seeking a Medical Assistant to support providers in examination and treatment while upholding patient confidentiality. The role includes front-office tasks as needed and follows clinic procedures and safety standards.

Responsibilities span patient triage, preparing exam rooms, instrument handling, injections, sample collection, basic tests, and charting. Must be able to work all shifts and maintain terminal accuracy in records.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
• MA course completion certification preferred.
• Must obtain and maintain a current certification in BLS.
• 2 years of Medical Assistant experience preferred.
• PC skills or applicable computer experience.
• Ability to read and write medical terminology.
• Ability to work all shifts.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients courteously and manage patient flow.
• Obtain patient history, triage, measure vital signs, and record info.
• Explain procedures and prepare patient and exam room.
• Prepare and hand instruments to provider; sterilize equipment.
• Administer injections, medications, and basic treatments as directed.
• Perform CLIA-waived lab tests and collect specimens.
• Undertake basic radiography or assist Radiology Technician.
• Complete medical charts with services rendered and test results.
• Schedule follow-ups and arrange referrals and tests.
• Monitor inventory and place orders for supplies and drugs.
• Perform quality checks on medical equipment; assist with registration.
• Other duties as assigned; safety-sensitive role.
