Job Description:

Beacon has an excellent opportunity available within our clinic as a Clinic Administrator. Beacon is the only private, independent cancer center in the Treasure Valley and is physician-owned. Having opened this year, we are already seeing approximately 100 new patients each month and are growing quickly. If you are looking for an exciting, flexible, and stimulating opportunity where you can make a meaningful impact, work closely with physicians, and help shape the future of an independent cancer center, Beacon is the right place for you! This individual will provide leadership for both clinical and non-clinical operations at Beacon Clinic Boise. Working closely with physicians, APPs, the Front Office Lead, and administrative partners, this role is responsible for staffing, patient flow, clinic operations, quality initiatives, financial stewardship, and team development.

Position Summary

This position serves as the operational leader for the Boise clinic, ensuring an exceptional patient experience while supporting operational excellence, practice growth, and high-quality cancer care. The Clinic Administrator will collaborate closely with Beacon leadership and operational teams in North Idaho to promote consistency, share best practices, and support organizational initiatives. This is not a back-office position. The Clinic Administrator will be a visible leader and an advocate for Beacon in the community, helping build referral relationships, follow through with community partners, support Beacon's online reputation, and ensure every patient and family feels respected, supported, and cared for. The ideal candidate is professional, positive, organized, calm under pressure, comfortable with numbers, and motivated by the opportunity to make a difference in cancer care.

What We're Looking For:

We are seeking a leader who is equally comfortable discussing patient care, staffing, clinic operations, and practice performance. Whether coming from oncology leadership or ambulatory practice management, the ideal candidate is collaborative, accountable, and driven to improve processes while creating an exceptional experience for patients and staff. We can teach the nuances of the oncology business. We are looking for a leader who enjoys partnering with physicians, developing high-performing teams, understanding practice performance, and helping grow an independent cancer practice.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily clinic operations, including staffing, patient flow, scheduling, and workflow management.

  • Partner with the Front Office Lead to ensure efficient non-clinical operations and administrative workflows.

  • Collaborate with physicians and APPs to optimize patient care, clinic performance, and provider experience.

  • Support hiring, onboarding, scheduling, performance management, and staff development.

  • Lead quality, safety, patient experience, and compliance initiatives.

  • Monitor operational, productivity, quality, and financial performance metrics and drive process improvement.

  • Participate in budgeting, resource management, and operational planning.

  • Develop and implement policies, workflows, and best practices in collaboration with the North Idaho team.

  • Support practice growth through strong provider relationships, community engagement, and an exceptional patient experience.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships with physicians, APPs, staff, patients, and community partners.

  • Self-motivated, coachable, and comfortable working in a growing, fast-paced organization.

Education & Experience:
