Qualifications

• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Climbing certification required.

Responsibilities

• Drive the highest level of customer service within the department.
• Provide consultative product knowledge to customers.
• Instruct climbing techniques for climbers of all ages and experience levels.
• Teach instructional lessons as needed or requested.
• Supervise climb sessions.
• Uphold standards for merchandise presentation and store operations in the climb department.
• Assist the store management with scheduling and directing workflow.
• Communicate initiatives, promotions, and programs to guides.
• Identify and correct safety concerns with the rock wall and climbing equipment.
• Ensure safety procedures and training are up to date.
• Train and mentor new hires; provide timely feedback.
• Manage team-building events at the rock wall.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
