Job summary

McCormick & Company, Incorporated seeks a Global Sustainability Director, Operations & Value Chain Resilience to lead the enterprise strategy for resilient operations and value chains. The role collaborates with Operations, Procurement, R&D, and Commercial teams, reporting to the Chief Sustainability Officer.

The position is hybrid (50/50) at our Global Headquarters in Hunt Valley, MD, with responsibilities spanning HRDD, supply base resilience, and long-term sustainable value creation.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Business, Social Science, or relevant discipline.
• 10+ years in social impact, CSR, sustainability, or related fields.
• Experience across global organizations with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Knowledge of HRDD, supply chain resilience, and regulatory landscape.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise strategy for operations and value chain resilience and lead a cohesive enterprise resilience framework.
• Lead enterprise resilience, social risk integration, and cross-functional delivery (including HRDD).
• Establish governance mechanisms to track delivery and ensure accountability.
• Partner with HR, Operations, Procurement, and other functions to align environmental and social risk mitigation.
• Build external relationships and represent the company in prioritized external events and partnerships.
