Job summary

INNOVIM supports NOAA’s AC4 Office within the Climate Program Office, with a location-based base in Silver Spring, MD. The role embraces remote work with in-person collaboration as needed to advance research priorities.

The candidate will coordinate grant funding competitions, track funded projects, and provide program strategy across NOAA lines, strengthening partnerships and ensuring effective execution of initiatives.

Qualifications

• Develop and coordinate grant funding competitions by coordinating and facilitating proposal reviews, and monitor funded research projects’ progress.
• Track and administer funded research projects by maintaining comprehensive records.
• Provide technical and organizational expertise and engage with program leads in developing research priorities.
• Enhance engagement and partnerships with other CPO programs, including via developing research priorities and collaborations.
• Identify and develop strategies for program effectiveness, including management of projects and task forces.
• Initiate activities and plans for collaborative efforts with other agencies.
• Provide expertise in program strategy, policy landscape, and execution of research initiatives.

Responsibilities
