Job summary

INNOVIM is seeking a Program Communications Specialist to support NOAA’s Climate Program Office AdSci. Location: based out of Silver Spring, MD with remote/hybrid work flexibility.

The role includes serving as a liaison with NOAA communications, updating program content for public communication, coordinating meetings and webinars, and managing knowledge, tracking, and grant-review processes to align research with NOAA priorities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the AdSci and CSI interface with CPO’s communications team.
• Develop, manage, and update content for the program’s website to communicate activities and outcomes to the public.
• Communicate and facilitate CSI-funded investigators’ research results into priority NOAA activities and products.
• Provide knowledge management and tracking for program development and management activities.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute meetings, webinars, workshops, and other communications and engagement activities, including logistics, scheduling, agendas, and post-meeting summaries.
• Organize and facilitate grant proposal review panels and monitor funded research progress with reports and honoraria tracking.
• Track and administer funded projects by maintaining records of accomplishments and evolving priorities.
• Collaborate within CSI, CPO, and other offices to integrate research and coordinate activities.
