Job summary

INNOVIM is seeking a communications and program support professional for NOAA’s OAR Climate Program Office AdSci and RISA initiatives, based in Silver Spring, MD.

The role focuses on developing and managing program content, coordinating meetings, webinars, and outreach, and ensuring integration of funded research into priority NOAA activities. Remote/Hybrid work arrangements are available, with in-person engagements as required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the AdSci and CSI interface with CPO’s communications team.
• Develop, manage, and update content for the program’s website to better communicate the program’s activities and research outcomes with the public.
• Communicate and facilitate the integration of CSI-funded investigators’ research results into priority NOAA activities and products.
• Provide knowledge management and other tracking functions for program development and management activities.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute meetings, webinars, workshops, and other communications and engagement activities, including pre-meeting logistics, scheduling, preparation, agenda development and post-meeting summaries, and action tracking.
• Organize and facilitate grant proposal review panels, and monitor funded research project progress by collecting, reviewing, and archiving project reports.
