Job summary

This community-facing role manages Eco-City programs, assists with the Eco-City website and dashboard, and serves as grant manager for local, state, and philanthropic funding while traveling around Alexandria to engage residents and businesses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Environmental Science or Engineering with 5+ years of environmental experience.
• Experience managing resources across environmental disciplines in public or private settings.
• Commitment to serving diverse populations and implementing sustainability programs.

Responsibilities

• Update, track and implement Environmental Action Plan 2040.
• Coordinate across City departments to develop programs for residents and businesses.
• Develop and manage Eco-City Alexandria programs and dashboards.
