Job summary

Chico’s FAS, Inc. is seeking a part-time Sales Associate to support management in driving a customer- and product-centric sales culture. You will promote MAPS principles, assist customers, and participate in visual and stock processes to maintain a thriving store environment.

The role emphasizes delivering excellent service, maintaining product knowledge, and using clienteling to grow a loyal customer base, with a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Retail or sales experience preferred.
• Age requirements vary by state: 16+ for AZ, GA, ID, IL, KS, MS, MO, MT, ND, NV, OK, SD, TX, UT, VA; 18+ for all other states.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Able to learn or adapt to technology provided by the company.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to communicate with customers, associates, and management.
• Regular attendance is essential; flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays required.

Responsibilities

• Meets company sales goals by utilizing sales techniques and communicating product knowledge to the customer; locates or obtains merchandise based on customer needs.
• Maintains knowledge of current sales and promotions; maintains pricing and visual standards.
• Maintains standards in merchandise handling, presentation, loss prevention, and all duties as directed by Management.
• Participates in visual directives including monthly store sets and sales floor maintenance.
• Promotes MAPS and provides a cohesive omni-channel experience.
• Ensures prompt resolution of customer concerns; efficient register experience and policy awareness.
• Signs up clients for rewards and builds a clienteling-based follow-up.
• Knows current product fit and style assortment in-store and online.
