Job summary

Franklin Fitch is seeking a Client Systems Manager to lead a team of developers and technologists supporting client-facing, sales and distribution systems in a hybrid Boston environment. You will own the technology roadmap, translate business needs into priorities, and partner with senior stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Previous software development or engineering experience with SDLC.
• Progression into Technology Manager, Development Manager or similar.
• Proven experience managing and developing software engineers.
• Experience in financial services, asset management or related field.
• Strong technical judgement to guide development teams.
• Ability to deliver applications, integrations and technology projects.
• Comfort working with senior business stakeholders and translating requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and develop a team of software developers and technical resources.
• Provide technical leadership across client and distribution technology.
• Oversee design, development and delivery of new apps, integrations and platform enhancements.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Distribution and other stakeholders to understand tech priorities.
• Translate business needs into clear priorities for technical teams.
• Own the roadmap, delivery and evolution of key client-facing systems.
• Support platforms including Salesforce and Seismic within the applications ecosystem.
• Drive software engineering practices across the team.
• Manage third-party technology partners and vendors when required.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, automation and capabilities.
• Ensure platform stability, governance, security and compliance.
• Support adoption of new technologies, including AI-enabled capabilities.
