Franklin Fitch is recruiting an Infrastructure Manager to lead an established infrastructure and network engineering function in Boston. The role blends technical leadership with people management and hands-on expertise across networking, servers, virtualization, storage, and cloud.

You will guide a team, set technical standards, mentor engineers, manage infrastructure projects, and partner with cloud and security teams to modernize the environment while improving resilience and operational

Qualifications

• As a senior infrastructure professional, you bring 8+ years in infrastructure or networking with 10–15 years of relevant experience.
• You have broad enterprise infrastructure knowledge and hands-on depth in at least one core area.
• You know Windows Server, virtualization, storage and cloud, and modern cloud integrations.
• You have leadership experience or clear examples of mentoring and technical ownership.
• You communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team across infrastructure, networking and telecommunications.
• Provide technical direction across the organization’s infrastructure environment.
• Mentor engineers and stay hands-on to guide complex solutions.
• Work across networking, servers, virtualization, storage, cloud and related technologies.
• Set priorities, standards and best practices for the infrastructure function.
• Collaborate with cloud, security and other tech teams on initiatives.
• Modernize the technology environment and improve automation, resilience and efficiency.
• Manage infrastructure projects and ensure delivery across domains.
• Act as escalation point for complex issues and build stakeholder relationships.
