Our client is a highly regarded global investment organization experiencing significant growth across its asset management and ETF businesses. As part of a broader investment in technology, they are seeking a Client Systems Manager to lead a team of technical resources responsible for developing and evolving the technology that supports their client-facing, sales and distribution functions.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced technology manager with a development background to take ownership of a business-critical technology environment, manage and develop a team of engineers, and partner closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation.
While platforms such as Salesforce and Seismic form part of the broader technology landscape, this is not a Salesforce specialist or traditional Business Analyst position. The successful individual will bring a strong grounding in software development, experience managing technical teams, and the ability to understand business requirements and translate them into effective technology solutions.
Reporting into senior technology leadership, you will take responsibility for a team of developers and technical resources supporting systems used across the firm's commercial organisation.
You will combine people leadership, technical oversight and stakeholder management, providing direction to the development team while partnering with the business to understand priorities, improve existing systems, and deliver new technology capabilities.
The role offers significant visibility across the organisation and would suit someone who has progressed from a hands-on development background into technology or engineering management while remaining comfortable working closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
We are especially interested in individuals coming from:
Candidates who began their careers as software engineers or developers before progressing into technical leadership and people management are likely to be particularly well suited to the position.
