Coastal Payroll Services, Inc. in Southern California is seeking a dedicated Client Support Specialist III to join our dynamic team. You will be the primary liaison for a portfolio of clients, ensuring accurate payroll processing and timely resolution of issues.

Responsibilities include training clients on our web-based HCM products, analyzing payroll reports, and delivering outstanding service across a high-volume support environment while building payroll expertise under management supervision.

Qualifications

• Industry experience in customer service and payroll/HR operations.
• Clear, effective communication skills for phone and web-based support.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Understanding of federal, state, and local wage/hour laws and payroll taxes.

Coastal Payroll is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Client Support Specialist III to join our dynamic Client Support team. As a Client Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring seamless payroll processing for our valued clients. This position acts as the primary liaison for a portfolio of clients, providing comprehensive support, training, and issue resolution.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Client Management: Oversee and manage your designated portfolio of clients, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing in accordance with daily deadlines.


• Training and Support: Assist clients with the training and ongoing use of our web-based human capital management products, empowering them to maximize the system's capabilities.


• Payroll Analysis: Help clients analyze payroll reports and develop customized reporting tools to meet business needs.


• Customer Service: Handle a high volume of incoming calls and support cases, delivering top-notch customer service with every interaction.


• Professional Development: Work directly under company management to deepen your payroll knowledge and become an expert in the field.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• Industry Experience: Proven knowledge and/or experience in customer service and operations within payroll and human resources functions.


• Communication Skills: Strong phone and web-based customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.


• Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook).


• Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of applicable federal, state, and local wage and hour laws, as well as payroll taxes at both the federal and state levels.


• Multitasking Ability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.


• Organizational Skills: Strong verbal and written skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.


• Analytical Skills: Solid math and analytical skills to effectively support clients.


• Educational Background: A BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience.
