Job summary

Barrett Distribution Centers is seeking a Client Support Specialist to provide excellent customer service, resolve issues, and coordinate between warehouse operations and customers. The role reports to the Client Support Manager and requires strong communication and organizational skills.

The position operates 8:00am-4:45pm, Monday-Friday, with hourly compensation of $23.00. Proficiency in Salesforce and warehouse management systems is preferred, along with two years of college and business

Qualifications

• Demonstrates knowledge of customer and personal services and satisfaction.
• Ability to balance priorities, meet deadlines, and problem-solve.
• Proficient with Salesforce and basic WMS concepts is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact and trusted advisor for assigned customers; maintain proactive communication and timely resolution of issues between warehouse operations and customers
• Process inbound/outbound paperwork, data entry, and reconciliations; handle special requests
• Invoice customers accurately and on time for all billing types; maintain billing files
• Monitor order fulfillment end-to-end across warehouse and touchpoints
• Ensure SLAs and compliance; route orders in portals and schedule carriers
• Run and review NCRs in Salesforce; fix discrepancies in records and reports
• Participate in onboarding new customers and ongoing process improvements
• Update Work Instructions and customer-facing correspondence regularly
• Stay current on shipment terms, BOL creation, and portal routing
