Job summary

Buckland, a global trade services provider with 70+ years of experience, seeks a Client Support Specialist in Wisconsin to ensure exceptional client experiences. You will support account management, coordinate service delivery, and nurture strong client relationships.

The role focuses on timely, professional responses, root-cause resolution, CRM upkeep, and cross‑team collaboration to meet client expectations. Bachelor’s in Business/Intl Business and a CCS designation are required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or International Business or similar field.
  • CCS designation or equivalent customs certification.
  • 2–4 years of experience in the Customs Brokerage industry.
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary contact for client inquiries, ensuring timely and professional responses.
  • Respond to and resolve general and complex issues, addressing root causes.
  • Maintain relationships with clients and monitor strengths/weak points.
  • Ensure client satisfaction with responses and resolutions to inquiries or complaints.
  • Coordinate and support service delivery to clients, aligning with expectations and timelines.
  • Maintain accurate client records and update CRM systems.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and ensure satisfaction.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for client meetings.
  • Monitor client feedback and identify opportunities for service improvement.
  • Assist with additional administrative and operational tasks as needed.

Client Support Specialist
What You’ll Be Doing

This intermediate‑level role is pivotal in ensuring exceptional client experiences by supporting account management, coordinating service delivery, and maintaining strong client relationships. The Client Support Specialist is the primary point of contact for responding to client inquiries and issues. This includes resolving all inquiries, identifying root causes to ensure permanent solutions. The ideal candidate is a natural communicator, highly organized, and thrives in a fast‑paced environment.

You will be responsible for
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for client inquiries, ensuring timely and professional responses.

What We Need From You
  • Bachelor's Degree or diploma in Business or International Business or similar discipline.
  • (CCS) Customs Certified Specialist Designation
  • 2-4 years of experience in the Custom Brokerage industry.
  • MS Office knowledge in applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and MS Outlook.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of organization, time management and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
