Job summary

Swipejobs is seeking a Customer Support Specialist to join our team in Milwaukee, WI. You will work directly with customers to help them access and receive program services, maintain eligibility, and achieve their program goals.

The ideal candidate is compassionate, organized, and comfortable building relationships with customers while navigating program requirements and resources. Schedule: Monday-Friday, with rotating Wednesdays as needed; pay rate is $21.00/hour on a 90-day contract.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s degree preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with customers.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain accurate documentation and case notes.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team and independently.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong working relationships with customers and monitor their engagement and progress.
• Work with customers regularly to help them meet program goals and maintain program services and eligibility.
• Provide guidance throughout multiple phases of the application process, from enrollment through the awarding of benefits and services.
• Assist customers in accessing resources such as educational and vocational training, medical services, childcare, transportation, and other services.
• Follow up with customers to ensure needs are addressed and questions resolved.
• Collaborate with team members to provide expertise in resolving customer issues.
• Maintain accurate and timely case notes documenting customer contacts and activities.
• Share information regarding outreach with project staff and identify barriers to engagement.
