Position OverviewThe Client Success Manager will have the responsibility for delivering a successful client experience for the Fortune Conferences division, both live and virtual. This position requires delivering against contracted benefits and event objectives, working as a sales representative proxy along with supporting the seller's pre-sale efforts. The successful candidate will be a strong client relationship builder and will be able to navigate internal teams (production, programming, marketing, edit, sales) to ensure optimal results for clients. This position must be able to communicate clearly with clients, ensuring their expectations are exceeded. Reports directly to the VP, Events & Executive Experience.Primary ResponsibilitiesYou will assume responsibility for the client experience upon confirmation of the sponsorship sale through to onsite execution and post-event wrap up for both new and existing clients as they renew partnerships.In your role, you are representing sales as you work with clients, and you are the primary liaison between the sponsor and the internal programming, production, editorial, and marketing teams.Pre-SalePartner with the VP of Global Conference Partnerships to communicate conference offerings, sponsorship opportunities, and available inventory to the broader Sales team.Collaborate with Sales to develop customized sponsorship proposals that align with client objectives, conference strategy, and available opportunities.Maintain and manage sponsorship inventory, ensuring accurate availability, allocation, and visibility into conference offerings.Work cross-functionally with Programming, Editorial, Marketing, Production, and other internal teams to assess the feasibility and execution requirements of proposed sponsorship opportunities.Support proposal development, revisions, and client requests, ensuring all proposed sponsorship benefits are compelling, accurate, and operationally achievable.Post Sale - Pre-conferenceEnsure all client contract benefits are successfully delivered, working with client, your sales representative and the conference production internal teams to fulfill benefits properly and on timeAbility to think strategically, grasping client key messages and priorities, enabling tailored and effective supportMaintaining a clear and consistent dialogue with the sales representative to make sure the communication with clients meets their expectationsHandle event registrations and communications with client executives and non-executivesBuild and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholdersProvide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and their concerns in a timeline mannerCoordinate with internal teams to ensure successful delivery of client benefits and expectationsDevelop/enhance and execute custom activation as outlined in contractProvide internal updates via weekly status reportPost Sale - On-siteDedicated onsite point person for client executives, ensuring all expectations are metCommunicate on behalf of client executives, as neededAssist with client executives’ scheduling, including booking meetingsManage all client-related on-site programs and deliverablesManage on-site client relationsEnsure client executives’ experiences as speakers and/or participants are positiveSupport overall Fortune Conferences sales team onsite as neededPost Sale - Post-conferenceConduct post event reviews with client and salesSupport the sales team by identifying opportunities for renewing or upselling additional services to enhance client experiencesWork with sales and go-to-mraket team on post event recap materials post for all tent-pole eventsProfessional/Personal Qualifications6+ years of experience in corporate sponsorship management in a live/virtual event settingAbility to travel domestically and globallyCreative mind-set with exceptional attention to detail and great organizational and time management skillsExcellent client services experience – comfortable interacting with high-level executivesStrong communications and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and work collaboratively across functions and departmentsAbility to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing prioritiesLocation: NYC - Hybrid.
