Job summary

The California Department of Motor Vehicles is seeking an IT Associate for the Security Operations Center in Sacramento. You will work with mainframe maintenance, real-time monitoring, and enterprise-level service desk support to ensure the availability, health, and security of critical systems used by Californians daily.

In this role you’ll monitor alerts, help triage incidents, and contribute to documentation and simple automation to streamline operations.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of mainframe environments (TSO, ISPF, Endeavor).
• Ability to monitor, analyze, and upscale system alerts for stability and security.
• Solid troubleshooting skills in fast-paced operations.
• Experience providing enterprise service desk support, including off-hours.

In this role, you’ll be part of the team that keeps DMV’s most essential systems running smoothly and securely. You’ll work hands‑on with mainframe maintenance, real‑time system monitoring, and enterprise‑level service desk support — ensuring the availability, health, and security of systems millions of Californians rely on every day.
