Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Hartford to support Financial Advisors, staff, and clients. You will handle inbound calls, educate clients on services, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have call center experience, strong communication, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Banking experience is a plus; the role includes benefits and an incentive program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Past call center or customer service experience preferred.
• Banking/financial services exposure is a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Outlook.
• Strong Windows 11 navigation and troubleshooting.
• Familiar with Citrix, Good for Enterprise, and Active Directory.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inbound calls from branch personnel and internal stakeholders, delivering exceptional service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive client experience.
• Educate clients on account services, products, and available capabilities.
• Demonstrate strong communication, organizational, and follow-up skills while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Provide superior customer-focused experiences, resolving inquiries with patience, professionalism, and empathy.
• Thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment while effectively managing multiple priorities.
• Perform basic technical troubleshooting and assist users with common technology-related issues.
