Overview
Beacon Hill is hiring for a Commercial Litigation Client Services Specialist to support a law firm's commercial litigation practice. This is a temp-to-perm, fully onsite opportunity based in Philadelphia, ideal for a highly experienced legal support professional who thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-level administrative and client service support to attorneys, including managing calls, correspondence, and client communications
- Support a commercial litigation practice with exposure to corporate disputes, white collar matters, and civil tax litigation
- Manage attorney calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements
- Prepare, edit, format, and proofread legal documents, memoranda, and correspondence with strong attention to detail
- Handle electronic filing in Pennsylvania state, local, and federal courts, ensuring compliance with all applicable rules and deadlines
- Manage case workflows, prioritize tasks, and coordinate with internal teams to meet critical deadlines
- Open and close client matters, maintain case files, and assist with conflicts checks in coordination with intake teams
- Track and calendar key deadlines using docketing systems and ensure accuracy in scheduling
- Collaborate with legal team assistants and other support resources to complete assignments efficiently
- typing speed of 60+ WPM preferred
Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in a law firm or corporate legal department required
- Strong experience with Pennsylvania court filing procedures and federal court rules required
- Prior experience supporting commercial litigation practices required
- Associate\'s degree preferred; Bachelor\'s degree a plus (relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of professionalism and discretion
- Ability to work independently in a deadline-driven, high-pressure environment
