Job summary

VCA Animal Care Center of Sonoma County seeks a Client Services Manager in Rohnert Park, CA. You will lead client service and administrative staff, own scheduling and onboarding, and drive staff development while maintaining a positive team culture.

Responsibilities include keeping client flow smooth, managing office operations, budgeting, purchasing, and collaborating with leadership on marketing and digital presence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years supervisory experience in a client-facing role
• 3+ years in finance or accounting
• Veterinary industry experience a plus, Emergency/specialty veterinary even better
• Comfortable lifting 40 lbs, standing and moving in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop client service and administrative Associates
• Own scheduling, onboarding, performance reviews, and staff development
• Step in on conflict resolution and client de-escalation; build a strong team culture
• Keep client flow smooth and resolve non-medical concerns quickly
• Manage office operations — supplies, phone systems, basic IT troubleshooting
• Keep records accurate and ensure compliance with safety and hospital protocols
• Oversee budgeting, purchasing, deposits, A/R, and billing
• Partner with leadership on marketing and digital presence
