Job summary

UDig is seeking a 8‑week Summer Internship in Information Systems and business analytics. You will support real client engagements, help manage agile ceremonies, draft user stories, and assist with roadmaps while partnering with senior consultants and delivery leaders.

You’ll gain hands-on experience in technology consulting, learn to communicate effectively with stakeholders, and contribute to project delivery in a hybrid Nashville or Richmond setting.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or MBA in Information Systems, Business Analytics, Business Administration, MIS, or related field.
• Foundational understanding of agile delivery (Scrum or Kanban) and the business analyst/project coordinator role.
• Comfort with Jira, Azure DevOps, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day delivery on an active client engagement by capturing notes, tracking actions, risks, and dependencies, and preparing status updates.
• Help run the team’s agile rhythm: standups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, backlog refinement, and retrospectives; keep boards accurate and progress communicated.
• Assist with requirements gathering—draft user stories and acceptance criteria and confirm them with the team.
• Contribute to product roadmaps, resourcing views, and executive-ready client updates.
• Dedicate time to research emerging technologies and best practices relevant to projects.

What You ' ll Do:

What You ' ll Bring:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or MBA in Information Systems, Business Analytics, Business Administration, Management Information Systems, or a related business or applied-consulting field
• Foundational understanding of agile delivery (Scrum or Kanban) and the role of a business analyst or project coordinator on a technology team.
• Comfort with collaboration and reporting tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• A strong passion for technology consulting and a proactive, ownership-oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the enthusiasm to ask questions and learn rapidly.
• Ability to work full-time for the duration of the 8-week summer program (6/7-7/30) in a hybrid model based out of one of our hub locations (Nashville or Richmond).
