Job summary

UDig invites ambitious students to join our 8-week Summer Internship Program in Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related fields. You will support day-to-day delivery on active client engagements, participate in agile ceremonies, draft user stories, and help prepare status updates.

This hybrid role offers mentorship from senior consultants, exposure to real client work, and a culture that values curiosity and collaboration.

WhatYou ’ llDo:

• Support day-to-day delivery on an active client engagement — capturing meeting notes, tracking action items, risks, and dependencies, and preparing status updates.
• Help run the team’s agile rhythm: prepare for and take part in daily standups,sprintplanning,sprint review, backlog refinement, and retrospectives, keeping the boardaccurateandprogress clearly communicated to technical and client stakeholders.
• Assistwith requirements gathering — drafting user stories and acceptance criteria and confirming them with the team.
• Contribute to product roadmaps, resourcing views, and executive‑ready client updates.
• Dedicate time to research emerging technologies and best practices relevant to your project, applying your academic knowledge in a professional setting.

WhatYou ’ llBring:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or MBA in Information Systems, Business Analytics, Business Administration, Management Information Systems, or a related business or applied‑consulting field
• Foundational understanding of agile delivery (Scrum or Kanban) and the role of a business analyst or project coordinator on a technology team.
• Comfort with collaboration and reporting tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• A strong passion for technology consulting and a proactive, ownership-oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the enthusiasm to ask questions and learn rapidly.
• Ability to work full‑time for the duration of the 8‑week summer program (6/7-7/30)in a hybrid model based out of one of our hub locations (Nashville or Richmond).
