Job summary

Brown & Brown is seeking a Customer Service Associate to assist clients with issues and maintain a high level of customer retention. You will handle incoming calls, address concerns, and develop a thorough understanding of our service policies to escalate issues to management when necessary.

Responsibilities include updating the database, data entry, collaborating with the management team, scanning and filing documents, and servicing accounts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two years’ experience in a customer service role.
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• 2-20 or 2044 License required.

Responsibilities

• Update the company database by inputting information from each call and keeping every customer field current.
• Collaborate with Management team for data entry projects and misc. projects.
• Scanning and filing documents into the company database.
• Servicing accounts, making and receiving calls to and from clients, answering client questions (after 4-40 licensed).
• Perform all other assignments as required.
• Planning/organizing—prioritize and plan work activities and use time efficiently.
• Interpersonal skills—maintain confidentiality and be open to new ideas.
• Oral communication—speak clearly and persuasively, present data effectively.
• Written communication—edit work for spelling/grammar; read/interpret documents; write routine reports.
