What the day will look like


  • Responsibility for improving the colleague experience at Aon, by developing talent at all levels to maximise our potential.

  • Owning and driving development activities across locations in order to ensure clear and consistent development plans are in place for all colleagues.

  • Developing and maintaining our new joiner induction program keeping on top of industry changes to ensure training remains relevant.

  • Analysing performance and quality data in order to drive training and performance priorities, e.g., E&O trends.

  • Design and deliver all colleague training & development on industry changes and projects, e.g., GMP, Pensions Dashboards.

  • Develop case studies and training material to assist with risk mitigation and continuous development.

  • Provide mentor support to managers and junior colleagues and act as a buddy to junior colleagues to ensure clear objectives are provided and training is understood.

  • Support performance feedback conversations and gather 360 feedback on colleague performance.

  • Support the goal setting process and end of year performance process to ensure consistent feedback is provided to colleagues in line with performance ratings.

  • Work with Team Managers to ensure completion of skills matrices and plans to expand knowledge.

  • Work with Team Managers to ensure clear succession planning in line with colleague skills.

  • Provide regular feedback and reporting to local management teams highlighting key areas of concern and training requirements.

  • Assist management in improving processing times and productivity through identification of non-standard processes and training needs.

  • Support the recruitment process and help attract top external talent.

  • Support the transition of work between locations and ensure processes and best practices are documented clearly.

  • Assist colleagues in attaining professional qualifications.

  • Experience in performance management using data analytics.
