Job summary

California Bank & Trust, a division of Zions Bancorporation, N.A., seeks a Client Service Associate (Teller) in Chino, CA to handle daily banking needs with a focus on exceptional client service.

You will process debit/credit transactions, open accounts, issue ATM cards, transfer funds, and identify cross-sell opportunities while maintaining accurate balancing. Full-time schedule with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and 1+ years of banking, cashiering, customer service, balancing, or other related experience
• Advance knowledge of cashiering, balancing, debits, credits, bank products, and/or banking
• Working knowledge of math
• Must have solid balancing and customer service skills
• Ability to cross-sell bank products based on clients’ needs

Responsibilities

• Responsible for accurately processing debit and credit transactions in compliance with established policies and procedures, while maintaining an acceptable balancing record
• Identifies and addresses clients’ needs by providing a variety of services which may include opening new accounts, issuing counter checks, performing account maintenance, issuing/activation of ATM cards, performing money transfers, ordering checks, receiving loan payments, etc.
• Resolve clients’ problems either through direct personal action or referral to alternative branch or bank resources
• Identifies and maximizes cross-selling bank opportunities through exploring needs
• You may be reassigned to an alternate location depending on business needs within a reasonable distance (30 miles of branch location) and given proper notice
• Other duties as assigned
