Job summary

California Bank & Trust in Rancho Bernardo, CA is seeking a Client Service Associate (Teller) to deliver top-notch service to clients while processing transactions accurately and in line with procedures. You will identify client needs, support opening accounts, issue cards, process transfers, and help customers navigate banking products.

The successful candidate will have a High School Diploma or equivalent, strong balancing and cash handling skills, and a willingness to cross-sell banking

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or equivalent and some cashiering, customer service, balancing or other related experience.
• Basic knowledge of math, cashiering, balancing, debits, credits, bank products and/or banking.
• Must have solid balancing and customer service skills.
• Ability to cross-sell bank products based on clients' needs.

Responsibilities

• Process debit and credit transactions accurately in line with policies and procedures.
• Identify and address clients' needs by offering services such as new accounts, ATM cards, money transfers, checks, and loan payments.
• Resolve client issues through direct action or referrals to appropriate resources.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities by understanding clients' financial needs.
• Other duties as assigned.
