California Bank & Trust in Mountain View, CA is seeking a Client Service Associate (Teller) to be the face of the branch, delivering personal service and helping clients with daily banking needs.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent with 6+ months experience in cashiering or customer service, and involves processing transactions, account support, and cross-selling products. Excellent balancing and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and 6+ months cashiering, customer service, balancing, or related experience.
• Working knowledge of math, cashiering, balancing, debits, credits, bank products and/or banking.
• Must have solid balancing and customer service skills.
• Ability to cross-sell bank products based on clients' needs.

Responsibilities

• Process debit and credit transactions accurately in compliance with established policies and procedures, while maintaining an acceptable balancing record.
• Identify and address clients' needs by providing services which may include opening new accounts, issuing counter checks, performing account maintenance, issuing/activation ATM cards, performing money transfers, ordering checks, receiving loan payments, etc.
• Resolve clients' problems either through direct personal action or referral to alternative branch or bank resources.
• Identify and maximize cross-sell bank opportunities through exploring needs.
• You may be reassigned to an alternate branch location depending on business needs within a reasonable distance (30 miles of branch location) and given proper notice.
• Other duties as assigned.
