Job summary

Ultimate Staffing in Carlsbad, CA is seeking a friendly Teller to provide outstanding service to members while handling a variety of financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers.

You will verify transaction accuracy, balance cash drawers daily, assist with account maintenance, and educate members on products and services, building strong relationships and contributing to a trusted community bank experience.

Qualifications

• Cash handling or teller experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet members in person and over the phone, providing professional, courteous, and efficient service.
• Process a variety of financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, transfers, and other account-related requests.
• Verify transaction accuracy and review documents for completeness and compliance.
• Assist members with account maintenance, including address changes and other account updates.
• Handle cashier’s checks, money orders, and other financial service transactions.
• Research and assist with debit card and ATM-related requests, coordinating with internal departments as needed.
• Maintain and balance a cash drawer accurately at the end of each day.
• Educate members on available products and services and identify opportunities to refer solutions that fit their financial needs.
• Build strong member relationships through exceptional service and effective communication.
• Maintain knowledge of policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements while ensuring confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Support branch operations and assist with additional projects and responsibilities as assigned.
