Marsh McLennan Agency LLC is seeking a Client Service Specialist to support the Service Center and senior account teams. You will handle complex client scenarios, advise on coverages, and nurture broker‑carrier relationships to deliver exceptional service.

The role requires insurance industry experience, licenses, and strong communication. Onsite presence in Raleigh, NC, with opportunities for mentoring and collaboration across the MMA network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education.
• Five years of relevant insurance industry experience.
• Active insurance license(s).
• Strong client relations and communication skills.
• Ability to lead, mentor, and develop others.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications, especially MS Office.
• Willingness to travel occasionally overnight.

Responsibilities

• Support Producer and Marketing Account Executive on complex client accounts.
• Analyze client needs and recommend coverage options and new lines.
• Build relationships with clients and carriers; provide exceptional service.

A day in the life.

As our Client Service Specialist on the Service Center team, you'll Support Producer and Marketing Account Executive, if applicable, by serving the larger and/or more complex clients and/or be viewed as a leader and resource by colleagues and peers who provides exceptional client service and serves as a mentor to others. Be knowledgeable of coverages, carrier guidelines, underwriting, legislative changes, and maintain relationships with clients and carrier representatives. Exercise independent decisions relating to client analysis of coverage, recommending coverage needs, and suggesting new lines of coverage for existing clients, as appropriate. Develop strong relationships with carriers and market accounts as requested by Producer and/or Marketing Account Executive.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and related training
• Five years of relevant insurance industry experience
• Appropriate insurance license(s)
• Strong client relations skills; including excellent communication skills and service orientation, cooperative nature, and tactfulness to resolve client and company problems
• Ability to utilize leadership skills by providing direction, constructive feedback, development and training while additionally being able to motivate others to maximize productivity and team morale
• Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to travel, occasionally overnight
