Job summary

Marsh McLennan Agency is seeking a Client Service Specialist to support Producers and Account Executives, handling large and complex client accounts with a focus on service excellence.

The role emphasizes strong client relations, communication, and industry knowledge. Travel may be required, and the position offers opportunities for career development within MMA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Five years of relevant insurance industry experience.
• Appropriate insurance license(s).
• Strong client relations skills with excellent communication and service orientation.
• Ability to lead, coach and train colleagues to maximize productivity.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness to travel occasionally overnight.

Responsibilities

• Support Producer and Marketing Account Executive by serving larger and more complex clients.
• Act as a mentor to colleagues and provide guidance on client service.
• Maintain relationships with clients and carrier representatives; stay informed on coverages and underwriting.
• Develop relationships with carriers and market accounts as requested.

A day in the life.As our Client Service Specialist on the Service Center team, you’ll Support Producer and Marketing Account Executive, if applicable, by serving the larger and/or more complex clients and/or be viewed as a leader and resource by colleagues and peers who provides exceptional client service and serves as a mentor to others. Be knowledgeable of coverages, carrier guidelines, underwriting, legislative changes, and maintain relationships with clients and carrier representatives. Exercise independent decisions relating to client analysis of coverage, recommending coverage needs, and suggesting new lines of coverage for existing clients, as appropriate. Develop strong relationships with carriers and market accounts as requested by Producer and/or Marketing Account Executive. • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and related training
• Five years of relevant insurance industry experience
• Appropriate insurance license(s)
• Strong client relations skills; including excellent communication skills and service orientation, cooperative nature, and tactfulness to resolve client and company problems
• Ability to utilize leadership skills by providing direction, constructive feedback, development and training while additionally being able to motivate others to maximize productivity and team morale
• Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to travel, occasionally overnight
